One of the key foundation breakthrough concepts that I share with my “Transformation Tribe” is that knowledge and awareness about your unconscious mind enables you to stop anxiety at it source.
The key, “prime directive” of your unconscious mind is to “preserve the body.” Unfortunately your unconscious mind lacks some of the critical faculties that your conscious mind has so what we really have is a “communication problem” when it comes to anxiety.
Let’s use the analogy of a horse trainer.
The trainer/rider is your conscious mind, the horse is your unconscious mind. To whip a horse or to get mad at it or to beat it are not only cruel and harsh, they just don’t work. the more you demand your “horse” snap out of it and stop the fear, the more fearful and freaked out it gets. Your unconscious mind will do whatever it thinks it needs to to protect and preserve the body. A frightened horse will kick and bite and buck and plant it’s feet.
