Did you know that an increasing number of people are being diagnosed with Fatty Liver Disease who aren’t alcoholics?
One of the challenges I have as a hypnotist with weight loss clients is countering the multi billion dollar bombardment of misinformation and mass hypnosis of the food industry.
I just watched this short video and thought I’d share it with you so you could see what we’re up against in the disinformation war.
I can’t tell you how many weight loss clients I’ve worked with since 2002 who said to me, “But I AM eating healthy!”
Then it turns out they were consuming a bunch of foods “marketed” as healthy, like sweetened yogurt, “heart healthy whole grain cereal,” sports drinks, fruit juices, energy bars etc. Or they were eating out a lot. It turns out there is fructose in a lot of condiments, salad dressings, sauces, etc.
I even explored those weight loss shakes and surprise! One of the main ingredients?
Fructose, (which sounds healthy cuz it comes from fruit right? )
Wrong.
Despite any number of hypnosis sessions, if a person continues to be influenced by the media to BELIEVE orange juice and granola for breakfast are “healthy” and doesn’t actually CHANGE what they eat, it’s not going to get through. Does that make sense? It’s not just about portion control. And “organic” brands are STILL full of sugar. I just looked at the label of a jar of salsa and one of the main ingredients was “Organic Evaporated Cane Sugar” as if the diced tomatos weren’t already sweet enough! And this video points out that every Cane Sugar molecule is comprised of a sucrose molecule and a fructose molecule. Even Honey has it.
So once you know about this, the next question is what do you DO about it? How do you break the trance the master marketers have used to make the entire world obese?
THAT’S where hypnosis can help. It’s about YOU becoming the master of your own MIND.
And I’m right here with you. I’m just a little ahead of you on the learning curve.
As I have gradually and sometimes inconsistently eliminated more and more simple carbs and sugar sources from my own diet I’ve
a. lost 30 pounds
b. had more energy and
c. my MIND has continued to be clearer.
