I’m extremely honored to be the meditation leader for the Albany Peace Project today. The core idea is that when groups of people focus their mind’s intention together, there is actually a MEASURABLE effect in the “field” of the collective unconscious Mind. Crime rates drop. Violence decrease in war torn areas. Today I’m doing my little part to increase the peace in downtown Albany NY. Wanna help? It’s fun. Just click and take a few moments to follow the meditation (which in my mind is not so different from self hypnosis). Please share and like and all that stuff too. It helps. Thanks!
Tons of studies have been done by the TM people that legitimately show a direct corellation between the numbers of people meditating towards a specific peace making or crime reducing goal. My dear friend Bethany Gonyea started this 4 years ago after dreaming and visioning it for years. I was so inspired by her that I wrote this song:
I told Bethany last night on the phone that I’ve been walking around my home and office all day chanting, “Peace in Albany, Peace in Albany. Peace in AWE-BANY!!!” LOL… I tend to be a bit of an ACITVE meditator! :o)
But here’s the bottom line. The more people who click on the soundcloud meditation player the better. We are attempting to determine what the “effective dose” of people participating is. You can help. You can make an actual MEASURABLE difference int he world by clicking the recording and holding “Peace in Albany” in YOUR mind… You don’t have to walk around the house chanting it like me, but Hey, it might actually be helpful AND fun.
In essence on a much larger scale than my 90 day Transformation Challenge, it is the MASTERMIND effect in action. When minds come together for a common shared purpose, magical things can happen.
