But Today is Friday morning and I have not left my house since Sunday night…
Who is this crazy man?!?
I mean I DID go outside and work in my garden… I DID go for walks.
But mostly I worked on an “assignment”
I was given an assignment by my own “mentor” or “coach” or whatever you want to call him…”Trusted Advisor”? Yeah I like THAT… Trusted advisor… mmmm. Good.
And I fully embraced and accepted his suggestion that I create something fabulous for you all…
And that assignment was to create a series of emails and videos that invite new subscribers into the Transformation Nation Fold in a way that inspires them and helps them understand their minds as well as teaches some of the core, foundation concepts that we here in this “community of consciousness” that I call “The Transformation Nation”… practice and live by every day.

The point I’ve been making all along is that you my friend are different.
Different in a good way from the 99% of the tranced out ‘average’ people that you see on the street eating donuts, fast food and watching TV, shopping for shiny shit at the mall or whatever…
What makes us different is the fact that we are doing our best to
WAKE up to the possibilities that are present in ALL HUMAN BEINGS
but that MOST HUMAN BEINGS…
IGNORE and AVOID at all cost…
Their FABULOUSNESS and even GREATNESS!
Not you. You’re on the path. The path with heart. You are waking up and rocking and rolling with the knowledge… the APPLIED knowledge THAT YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY WITH YOUR THOUGHTS…
One key piece of that path is finding a community of other people who are striving to release the “blocks”, clear the crap, overcome the limiting beliefs and childhood vows as well as life long habits that no longer serve us…

Which if you missed it, covered one of our key foundational concepts of “Getting to Cause.”
In other words getting out of the prevalent “victim” mode.
Had a great day yesterday and today raging anxiety and feel like shit.
Jut listened to “cause and effect.” Does cause come first, then effect?
I know today I am playing the victim because of the fear of the fear
in my body. As you say. Anxiety is literally THINKING about what
I do not want to have happen in the future-THATS IT!!
My body, my subconscious mind experiences me focusing on bad shit and
responds by triggering the fight or flight response. None of it matters
if I can’t stop thinking like a VICTIM.
I “get” that I “created” this and if I don’t like this that means I can create
something better starting right now.
Mark I am so tired of feeling so unwell one day and good the next.
I smell “victim”.
Any ideas for me? Really focused on what I don’t want.
NOT SURE WHAT I DO WANT.
My dear Linda, first of all you SMELL FABULOUS! What is that? Sea Breeze? Patchouli? There’s a certain freshness about you… with a hint of Autumn Leaves and a splash of wood smoke…

I love it when people like you (and me) have the GUTS and the courage to look at their old patterns and realize something is ready to change… cowabungah! good for you. AWESOME!
Und Now To answer your question.
Now… here’s the deal my friend, You are on to it.
You are soo On To IT.
When we focus on what we do NOT want, your amazing and sensitive UNCONSCIOUS MIND thinks that it is actually HAPPENING RIGHT NOW.
It can not discern the difference between what is “real” and what is IMAGINED. That’s why you can be sitting feeling fine and all of a sudden have a thought about something bad that could happen and BOOOM! You get a jolt of those “fight or flight” hormones that pull you OUT of your conscious rational thinking and put you on ALERT.
That’s one of the reason I constantly challenge you to focus on what you want instead of what you don’t want.
Either way, your unconscious mind will do it’s best to give you what you focus on. It can not discern between “good” or “bad”.
So if you don’t know what you want…
You have to start with what you don’t want and then STOP.
Consciously turn it around to find what you DO WANT.
Example: Pretty much every smoker I’ve ever worked with would say, “I don’t want to smell like cigarette smoke.”
And I would have to say, “Well what DO you want?”
A lot of times they wouldn’t even “get” that.
“Huh? What do you mean?” they’d ask.
And I’d have to repeat it. “What DO you want?”
“Well,” they’d stop and think for a moment, “I want to smell fresh and clean. Like laundry that dried in the
Do you see the difference?
You can’t hold the image of fresh, clean laundry drying in a sunny, summer breeze in your mind… without letting go of the other, old idea of what you don’t want…
Does that make sense? Sometimes I prefer to focus on Puppies and Kittens… and other cute wittle baby animals…
or I focus on YOU living the life of YOUR dreams!
So if you don’t want to feel “anxiety” [which is actually literally thinking about what you do not want to have happen in the future]
What DO YOU WANT TO HAVE HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE?
Do you want to be calm and relaxed?
What would THAT be like?
You see, we CAN’T hold two thoughts in our minds at the same time…
Here’s a “neutral” example from my life…
I recently got a new car which is a 6 speed manual…
Reverse is in a different place from where I’m used to finding it…
One day at a traffic light I accidentally put it in reverse when I meant to put it in FIRST GEAR….
it was no big deal because I was stopped… BUT BECAUSE I was [notice the conscious use of the past tense] a life long anxiety sufferer…
(and because this shit takes constant practice)
I IMMEDIATELY IMAGINED ACCIDENTALLY PUTTING MY damn CAR IN REVERSE AT THE WORST POSSIBLE TIME (like at highway speeds) AND DESTROYING MY NEW TRANSMISSION…
I literally had to emphatically say OUT LOUD…
“STOP! Focus on what you want Mark…”
BOOM! I consciously focused on driving safely.
Driving my car easily and enjoyably, knowing exactly what gear I’m in… My car happy with my loving hands caressing the steering wheel and shifter thing, directing it into the perfect gears…
vroom, vroom… and oh! look at the pretty leaves!
And is THAT a red tailed hawk?
The point is that our FOCUS is always changeable by US.
Any focus that doesn’t make you feel good is simply habit. Change your focus.
And the time has come to begin to change that habit with love, and firmness. Persistently. Consistently. Compulsively (:o)
So Today, Linda (and all the rest of us) Let’s concisely focus on what we want…
one easy way to do that is to
a. decide what you want.
b. pop what you want into a why question…
“Why do I choose the right gears when I drive my car?”
or for you Linda (and the rest of us who are right there with you working on this stuff)
“Why do I choose to focus my mind on….” then fill in the blank
a. Why to I choose to focus my mind on what I want?
b. Why to I choose to focus my mind on what I’m grateful for?
c. Why to I choose to focus my mind on what’s good in my life?
d. Why to I choose to focus my mind on how much Mark Shepard believes in me? :o)
e. Why to I choose to focus my mind on how much I love and adore my awesome self?
