  • I “should” be more successful by now…”
  • I “should” stop smoking…
  • I “should” lose weight

Real Life Results

Just got this from Paula S. who used her “transformation tools” to overcome her fears and anxiety about traveling for her new job…

Love what you’re doing with Honest Hypnosis!

Just wanted to let you know I had a fabulous time this past week in Buffalo and NYC.   I conquered a number of fears:
– that I would not be able to drive 5 hours due to my dry eyes (turns out I drove straight through, stopping once for gas at the end)
– that I would not be able to breathe in NYC with all the car exhaust
– that NYC is a big bad dangerous place (got this misbelief  from somewhere);  in fact, at one point I was so busy looking up at all the buildings, I forgot to look down, and I tripped and fell.   I had a number of people exclaim and offer to help.
– that I would hate sleeping in hotel rooms because they would be all smoky (I had smoke-free, pet-free rooms that smelled great)
– that I would not be able to find non-allergenic food/places to eat.   Turns out I had dinner at a diner one night, and the Outback another night.  The Outback meal was one of the best I’ve ever had.   And since I wasn’t driving, I had a sensual Merlot to go with it!
– that I would hate traveling (as I did when I traveled for work years ago); turns out on this trip that my rooms were great.   In fact, my room in NYC was so luxurious I felt like a princess!  The sheets were the softest I’d ever slept on, the pillow so fabulously wonderously big and fluffy and soft and just the right angle for my neck.  And my room came with a bathrobe and slippers and a view of Manhattan from the 21st floor (many thanks to my colleague John who had offered to swap rooms with me, as he’d been to NYC many times and wanted me to be able to have a view).
I felt like I was on vacation (and I’ve needed one!).   There were no dishes to do, no laundry to do, no lawn to mow, no responsibilities other than showing up at a classroom to share knowledge 6-7 hrs a day.
I can’t wait to travel again, and I’m looking forward to my next outing in NYC!
